Department of Labor State Poster:

The posters for Idaho and Louisiana are being updated due to mandatory changes related to the Discrimination and Earned Income Credit (EIC) provisions. These are material substantive changes and new posters are required.

  • Idaho Commission on Human Rights has stated that they're in the process of updating their website and all of their printed materials.
  • The Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) issues the official form of the EIC Notice that must be posted each year by covered employers. The EIC Notice advises employees of the potential availability of earned income tax credits and the current income eligibility requirements. The income eligibility limits differ depending on the employee’s tax filing status and the number of qualifying children, if any, the employee has.

Poster Requirement

Employers must post the updated State and/or Federal Contractor poster in their establishment. For more information regarding these changes and how they may apply to each state click here to access the Department of Labor website.
