Minimum Wage Update for Berkeley, CA

Berkeley, CA has increased its minimum wage rate to $15.00 per hour effective October 1, 2018. You should increase the rate for-nonexempt employees paid below the new minimum wage rate on or before the effective date and if needed, order a new poster. Please click here for a copy of the poster.

Please click here for instructions which will guide you through how to run a report to identify the current pay rate for each of your employees as well as how to make updates. If you determine that increases are necessary, it is important that you make updates early enough so that your first payroll, on or after October 1, will be paid at the new rate.
