Nevada has enacted legislation (Assembly Bill 307) that requires employers to post notices concerning the state’s job training and employment programs. Assembly Bill 307 takes effect on October 1, 2021.

Notice Requirements:

The Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation will prepare job training and employment program (such as Job Connect and the Career Enhancement Program) notices that the Nevada Labor Commissioner will make available to private employers in Nevada.

Employers must display such posters in a conspicuous location at the place of employment where notices to employees and job applicants are customarily posted and read.

Compliance Recommendations:

Nevada employers should post these notices when they are made available by the Nevada Labor Commissioner. Please contact your dedicated service professional with any questions.
