Rhode Island has enacted legislation (House Bill 7058), which will require employers with more than 50 employees to post a veterans’ benefits and services poster. House Bill 7058 takes effect on Jan.  1, 2025.

The details

Beginning Jan. 1, 2025, Rhode Island employers with 50 or more employees must display a veterans’ benefits and service poster (to be created by the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training and the Office of Veterans Services) in a conspicuous place, accessible to employees in the workplace.

  • Educational, workforce, and training resources;
  • Tax benefits;
  • Rhode Island state veteran drivers' licenses and non-driver identification cards;
