A U.S. District Court judge has issued an order temporarily blocking the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from ending TPS protections for Haitian nationals early.  Under a previous announcement from DHS, TPS for Haiti would have terminated early on September 2, 2025. The court order reinstates a prior expiration date of February 3, 2026. DHS has appealed the order.

Next Steps

·      No immediate reverification is required by employers at this time.

·      If the order is overturned on appeal, then reverification of impacted employees would be required by Sept. 2, 2025 unless a different date is specified.

·      ADP will continue to monitor developments.
