Employers must submit 2017 and 2018 EEO-1 pay data to EEOC by Sept. 30

What you need to know: 
This spring, a federal judge ordered the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to comply with changes to EEO-1 data collection obligations that were announced in 2016 and postponed in 2017. 

These reinstated obligations require private employers with 100 or more employees, to collect and report additional information to the EEOC. This information, called Component 2 data, includes wage and hour data for employees, broken out by race/ethnicity and gender. 

What you need to do: 
Relax and know that we’ve got this! As we compile the data this summer we may reach out if we identify any missing information. Otherwise, just sit back, relax, and know you are in good hands with ADP TotalSource.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

  1. Who is required to file Component 2 data?
    • Private employers with 100 or more employees. ADP TotalSource will take care of the filing for impacted clients.

  3. My company is a Federal Contractor who has filed EEO-1 reports in the past. Will we be required to file Component 2?
    • Federal Contractors with 50 to 99 employees are NOT required to file Component 2 data. Those with 100+ employees will be included in the ADP TotalSource filing.
