Get ready: One-Time Passcode launching in May

In late May, ADP TotalSource® is rolling out One-Time Passcodes (OTPs), as an added layer of protection for you and your employees.

Until recently, ADP TotalSource® Practitioners received suggested Knowledge Articles (KAs) when creating a case in Service Portal, but not when creating a case directly in ADP TotalSource. Now, practitioners have access to KAs whether you create a case from within ADP TotalSource or Service Portal.

We are excited to announce that we are once again providing you with a Certificate of Insurance (COI) review period prior to this year's annual workers' compensation renewal. This critical review period is essential to verify the accuracy of your certificates and remove unnecessary documents from your account before they are automatically renewed.

Now Available: Workers’ compensation renewal certificates (COI) from the Marsh COI Portal.

Workers’ compensation renewal certificates (COI) for the next policy period (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) are now available for immediate download via the Marsh COI Portal, which is integrated within the ADP TotalSource® platform. This tool allows for 24/7 self-service access to generate and distribute certificates of insurance.

United States Postal Service Rule Change

The United States Postal Service (USPS) recently released an updated rule change providing clarification on the timing and manner by which mail is officially postmarked.

The rule states that the manual stamping of a postmark is not done in the ordinary course of business for retail USPS locations. This means that if you place mail in a mailbox or at a post office location and do not request a manual postmark, then the piece of mail will not receive a postmark until it arrives at a USPS processing facility.
