Great news: Starting June 6, the ADP TotalSource® Qualifying Life Event (QLE) process has gone through an upgrade.
First up, what’s a QLE? It is a change to a life situation – such as getting married, having a baby, adoption and more. QLEs, including HIPAA Special Enrollments, are defined by the IRS. They allow anyone who is participating in the ADP TotalSource benefits program to make changes outside of the annual Open Enrollment period. If you experience a QLE, and participate in the ADP TotalSource benefits program, you have 60 days from the date of the event to make changes to your benefits to better reflect your new household.*
What’s changing? Beginning June 6, if you submit a QLE, ADP TotalSource has new feature walk you through the process and guide you on what information you need to enter. In addition, you will have immediate access to your new benefits plan options and costs.
Is that all? No, there’s more! If you submit a QLE, you will receive customized emails and videos to help. No reason to call in and check the status of your request – it will all be delivered right to you.
Need to submit a QLE? Click on the “Report a Life Change” tile on your ADP TotalSource home page.
Reminder: If you don’t submit your QLE within 60 days following the event date, you will need to wait until your next Open Enrollment to make changes.
