Florida has now released the poster required to be posted in the workplace regarding the minimum wage increase in the state.
The Details:
Effective Sept. 30, 2022, the minimum wage in Florida was increased to $11.00 per hour for non-tipped employees and to $7.98 in cash wages for tipped employees.
Florida has released the poster informing employees of the minimum wage increase, which should be posted “where it can be easily viewed by employees.” An employer found liable for intentionally violating minimum wage requirements is subject to a fine of $1,000 per violation.
