This year, we’re excited to introduce an easier way to access, update and manage your Workers’ Compensation Certificates of Insurance. This useful new feature in the Marsh COI Portal lets you review data for the current policy period, make changes to certificates and download individual or multiple certificates at a time. Even better, this enhancement improves account visibility, so you can ensure COIs have the most accurate info for the upcoming March 1–17 review and renewal period.
During the review period, you’ll get a preview of the certificate data and can now make updates for renewal or nonrenewal. To make changes, log in to ADP and single sign-on to the Marsh COI Portal to review the certificate details included with your renewal certificate. Please note that all adjustments must be made within the Portal and saved. If you’d like to see a current certificate, use the drop-down menu to the Document History option.
Renewal documents will be available to download on or around May 1 from the Marsh COI Portal. You may download individual or multiple certificates and choose to have them emailed or physically mailed from the Document History option on the Portal. Any new certificates requested after the review period will be renewed for the next policy year.
Here are a few important dates to keep in mind as we get closer to the review period.
Important dates
§ March 1-17 - Review data for the current certificate policy period (July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023)
§ On or around May 1 - Renewal certificates for the next policy period (July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024) will be available on the Marsh Portal
§ Determine how to distribute the renewal certificates for the next policy period (7/1/23 – 6/30/24) to your certificate holders
§ The new policy period starts on July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024
