Once you are ready to hire a candidate, extending a compelling job offer can impact the likelihood of acceptance and whether the employment relationship gets started on the right foot. Here are some do's and don'ts to help you navigate extending a job offer:

Automatic extension period for certain employment authorizations increased

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that the automatic extension period for certain employment authorizations and employment authorization documents (EADs) has been temporarily increased from 180 days to 540 days. The extension period is provided to certain renewal applicants to help prevent gaps in employment authorization due to delays in processing.

New and improved Qualifying Life Event process

Great news: Starting June 1, the ADP TotalSource® Qualifying Life Event (QLE) process has gone through an upgrade. Now, if you submit a QLE, ADP TotalSource has a new feature walk you through the process and guide you on what information you need to enter. In addition, you will have immediate access to your new benefits plan options and costs. Read more about the new, improved QLE service experience.
