2025 is just around the corner. Let’s get ready!

We just have a couple of months left till the end of the year, so it’s important for  you to know the detailed information about these Year-End tasks, visit and bookmark the ADP TotalSource® Year-End & Quarter Close Guide.

Review the following items:

·      Validate 2025 Payroll Schedules:  Take me to the Payroll Schedule Page

·      Prepare for Bonus processing: To learn more, see Year-End Bonus Payroll Processing. This should be completed by mid-December.

·      Verify your employees have accurate Worked in Addresses and Home Addresses in WFN. Worked In Addresses drive correct tax withholding, and Home Addresses are important for making sure W-2 mailing is correct.

·      Note that the Amendment Deadline for inclusion on 2024 W2s is Nov. 15: If you have a pending correction, please submit to your Payroll Business Partner prior to Nov. 15.

·      Review Year-End benefit-related information: To learn more, see Benefit Reminders for Year End. For questions, call a Benefits associate at 844.448.0325.

·      Review employee deductions for external benefit plans by December 15th:

o   401k or other retirement

o   Group term life

o   Medical

o   Dental

o   Vision

o   Other voluntary deductions

·      Banks and ADP will be closed on the following dates due to observed holidays: Nov. 28, Dec. 25, Jan. 1. Let your Payroll Business Partner know if you have any questions about your payroll processing schedule during weeks impacted by these holidays, or if you need any temporary payroll package delivery date changes due to office.

·      Issued unreported checks to employees.

·      Need to void any checks.

·      Offer a pension/deferred compensation plan to which employees do not contribute directly through payroll but you contribute on their behalf.

If you are a new ADP TotalSource client and are still in Implementation, some of these items may not be necessary for you. If you are in Implementation, please reach out to your Implementation Consultant for any Year End related questions.

Stay tuned for more tips coming next month!
