SSN Will No Longer Display on Standard Payroll Reports

In accordance with ADP's continuing commitment to protecting your data, and that of your employees, ADP will no longer display and/or print the partial Social Security Numbers of your employees on standard payroll reports we produce. There is no change to the way you access Social Security Numbers in your payroll input system (e.g., My TotalSource).
Details are below:

The following changes will be in effect for all standard payroll reports generated by ADP:
- All employee Social Security Numbers will no longer display on the standard payroll reports you currently receive from ADP.
- The Social Security Number Field on your AutoPay Master Control will now display:
o ON FILE – ADP has the Social Security Number on the Employee Masterfile
o MISSING – The employee has no Social Security Number on the Employee Masterfile
o APPLIED FOR – The employee has an Applied for Social Security Number on the Employee Masterfile.

Change effective with payroll processed on or after May 7, 2015.

Effective with payroll processed on or after May 7, 2015, no portion of the SSN will display on any standard payroll report, including:
- Labor Distribution Register
- Multi-Jurisdiction Report
- New Hire Compliance Report
- Personnel Change Report
- Wage Garnishment Reports
Note: MY TotalSource will continue to provide several reports that include masked SSNs, including the HR Census Report. Masked SSN is also a field available in the Data Access feature in My TotalSource.
