The Department of Labor (DOL) has published final Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) regulations that are effective December 1, 2016. As a service to our clients, we have created a toolkit to help you prepare for the effective date of the regulations. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued a final rule that will require covered employers to electronically report work-related injuries and illnesses and requires all employers to develop and inform employees of injury and illness reporting policies.

New Reporting Requirements

OSHA has expanded the reporting requirements for work-related injuries. 

The current Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification expired on March 31, 2016. The U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services has announced that employers must continue to use the current version until a proposed I-9 is in effect.
