The current Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification expired on March 31, 2016. The U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services has announced that employers must continue to use the current version until a proposed I-9 is in effect.

You should have received an email with program information from ADP TotalSource that you can share with your part-time and full-time employees at any time you see fit. TotalSource will communicate this information to your employees directly later in April.

A global health alarm on the outbreak of a disease or virus raises issues for employers and employees as to the appropriate workplace responses. In recent years, Avian flu, swine flu (H1N1), and Ebola drew workplace concerns. Now, the mosquito-borne Zika virus has the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) declaring public health emergencies and putting employers’ attention on how to respond.

Proposed changes to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s EEO-1 report would have employers with at least 100 employees submitting all employees’ W-2 earnings data and actual hours worked beginning with the 2017 EEO-1 reporting cycle.
